“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways then I will hear from heaven stretch out My hand and heal their land…”
— The Old testament book of 2nd Chronicles, 7:14
When a nation rejects the ways of God there is certainly a payment required, “do not be deceived whatever a man sows this shall he also reap,” America has sown to the whirlwind for decades, maybe centuries, do we not rightly deserve to be corrected?
God is the Creator of the universe, the Heavens and earth are His, the gold and silver and every precious thing is His, along with every living thing…and He has prescribed the proper ways for everything to live and interact.
However some have not only refused to bend their knees to His ways but go so far as to heartily critique Him and woefully denounce His ways as antiquated and archane, prudish and outdated.
Enter the Frankfurt school. A group of jewish descendants fleeing Nazi persecution in Europe prior to world war 2. They would find a hearty reception in the United States of America, more specifically, Santa Monica California.
These would go on to reject every form of godly living as burdensome and hindering of sexual expression, using the modern sciences of sociology, psychology, evolution and others to bulwark their ideas, they would move to corrupt, most awfully, the youth of the fledgling superpower. Anything awful, or offensive, anything disturbing or distasteful would be promoted while generally-accepted norms of society, and wise living would be discounted and rejected.
As the bible clearly states in proverbs, “The recluse snarls at every sound principle of conduct.”
And “14 Do all things without grumbling or disputing, 15 that you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world” — Phillipians 2:14-15
These early adopters of the communistic mindset held to a form of intellectualism called “Critical Theory” which literally criticised everything! From there it was not unsurprising to see modern art, free sex, feminism, transgenderism, secular humanism arise…
