What Should We Do With Fear?
Jesus told us plainly in Luke 21:11 that there would be great suffering in the world to come, “plagues/pestilences in various places”.
What you are about to see has long been prophesied by Jesus Christ. Our response as humans is right to be fearful, however our Creator has not left us without hope in this world. Jesus Christ has given us His eternal hope by dying on a cross in Jerusalem over 2000 years ago, and becoming a substituionary sacrifice — taking our place and paying what we owed to God for our sinful lives.
What we all must do is take our belief and place it firmly on Jesus Christ. “that if you confess with yourmouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.10For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.
