Abortion, what does the Bible say about it?

Abortion, Child Sacrifice, Ancient Molech and Baal Worship in Practice Today.

The concept and practice of abortion has existed since the creation. Early peoples would actually practice a form of sterilization in order to preserve a woman’s youthful figure. Abortion was also practiced in open idol worship such as the practice of burning children in the fire as offerings to Molech and Baal, along with many other forms.

As Christians should we be open to abortion, or OK with its practice in our generation?

Prior to 1973 abortion was illegal in the United States, however ater the landmark Roe vs Wade supreme court decision abortion became legal and protected by law. Since that time approximately 60 million Americans have been aborted (as of this writing 1/2020).

Here is the primary verse specifically regarding induced abortion, It’s extremely clear.

Exodus 21:22-25 ESV
“When men strive together and hit a pregnant woman, so that her children come out, but there is no harm (meaning the child is born and is healthy), the one who hit her shall surely be fined, as the woman’s husband shall impose on him, and he shall pay as the judges determine. But if there is harm (meaning the child dies in the womb), then you shall pay life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.”

But there are MANY verses regarding what we now do, aborting innocent lives inside the womb, mostly in seeking to bless our lives, or not be inconvenienced, as the actress just famously quoted at the golden globes, “if I hadn’t of aborted my baby I never would have gained this fame” (Ty’s general paraphrase – Here’s the video https://youtu.be/Gj-r0tcvLh8)

However This is detestable in the eyes of the Lord. AND it goes against our own constitution and bill of rights as we are to ensure each individual (now proven by DNA to be a separate individual person within the womb) regardless of race or sex is to be protected in their right to life.

Now with this horror being exposed and all of this scritptural teaching, please understand that if someone has fallen into this error, as in ANY of the sins that we do, there is still hope in Jesus Christ for forgiveness. Jesus’ sacrifice purifies us from ALL sins. We only need to change our thinking and re-orient to what God/Jesus says about these things.

Ezekiel 20:31 ESV
When you present your gifts and offer up your children in fire, you defile yourselves with all your idols to this day. And shall I be inquired of by you, O house of Israel? As I live, declares the Lord God, I will not be inquired of by you.

Psalm 106:37-38 ESV
They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.

In Leviticus 18:
“21You must not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molech, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the LORD.”

In Jeremiah 19:
“4because they have abandoned Me and made this a foreign place. They have burned incense in it to other gods that neither they nor their fathers nor the kings of Judah have ever known. They have filled this place with the blood of the innocent. 5They have built high places to Baal on which to burn their children in the fire as offerings to Baal— something I never commanded or mentioned, nor did it ever enter My mind.

Deuteronomy 12:31 ESV
You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.

Leviticus 20:1-5 ESV
The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Say to the people of Israel, Any one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. I myself will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, to make my sanctuary unclean and to profane my holy name. And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death, then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech.

Ezekiel 16:20-21 ESV
And you took your sons and your daughters, whom you had borne to me, and these you sacrificed to them to be devoured. Were your whorings so small a matter that you slaughtered my children and delivered them up as an offering by fire to them?

Do you realize that we JUST imported a copy of the Arch of Baal from Palmira Syria? And placed it in NYC near Ground Zero? Weird huh?
